With the release of Chikitu, the first song from superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Coolie, the musical adventure has officially begun. Due to its distinctive presentation and upbeat images, the lively song, which was released on Wednesday, June 25, is already creating a lot of talk online.
Anirudh Ravichander's composition Chikitu pays a passionate homage to Rajinikanth's renowned dancing technique. Joining Anirudh on screen, actor and director T. Rajendar imitates Thalaivar's signature moves in a light-hearted tribute that is gaining popularity. Additionally, Rajinikanth himself makes a few fleeting appearances in the song, which gives audiences even more excitement.
The song's lyrics and vocals were written by Arivu, who also performs it with Anirudh and Rajendar. Known for singing about societal issues, Arivu gives the usually joyous song a surprising yet welcome lyrical twist.
Chikitu, which has dynamic dance, retro-themed visuals, and an eccentric, experimental tone, represents a creative shift from Anirudh's typical mass-appeal approach. Although opinions on the track's unusual sound have been divided, many fans are enjoying its lively production and nostalgic appeal.
